Bridges to Independence is a grassroots nonprofit social service agency in operation since 2003. Our philosophy revolves around providing person-centered, client-driven services to people with disabilities. We are here to support our clients in setting and achieving their goals and in defining their independence. At Bridges we strive to be family and community friendly, adhere to principals of harm reduction, and work toward economic and social justice for all.
NEWSFLASH! This summer, we are opening Turtle Town Cafe, a community space and vocational training program for people with developmental disabilities. We will be offering time-based trainings, real work experience, graduation certificates, and referrals to our community partners for job interviews.
We will post more information soon, but we are already accepting applications for the vocational training program. Please contact us for details.
Please be patient as we build this website... More information about all of our programs will be posted soon.
