We began in January of 2003, with determination to create a dependable social service agency for individuals with disabilities in the Portland Metro area. Bridges to Independence sets the standard for professional services and best practices for state licensed Support Services, Semi-Independent Living Programs, and Support
ed Living Programs in the State of Oregon. We achive th standard maintaining fiscal accountability and minimal administrative costs. Bridges to Independence clients receive quality instruction in such areas as money management, self-advocacy, grocery shopping, bus training, nutrition, home cleaning and critical thinking skills. We provide professional, respectful and dependable services to consumers in a patient, conversational-method of instruction, support and advocacy.
